For over seventeen years, Phelps Staffing’s goal has been to provide its clients with the best staffing services available.  And while many of our clients have been with us for many years, there are some users of staffing services that don’t know what we actually do.

The following, we hope, will help clarify that situation.

Client Contact: From the initial interview through the candidate’s placement, we maintain an on-going dialogue with the client in order to develop and refine a candidate’s profile and to make sure that the client is satisfied with both our candidate submissions and our service.

Screening Process: We conduct extensive screening and testing practices with our temporary and direct-hire candidates. This enables us to provide our clients with a detailed profile of each of our candidates along with quantitative measures of their skills.

Employment Law Compliance: Candidates that wish to work as temporary employees complete an orientation and a full spectrum of employment forms and procedures that are essential policies required by both State and Federal employment laws.

Background-Check Requests: At the client’s request, we perform background checks. We submit an invoice for our direct cost (with no mark-up), which may vary depending on the request and number of counties to be checked.
